Gotabaya appears before the FCID

Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa arrived at the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) this morning (11) to give a statement regarding the ongoing investigations into the controversial MiG aircraft purchase deal.

It is reported that he appeared before the investigation unit in response to a summons issued for the relevant investigations.

Meanwhile, former Air Force Commander, Marshal of the Air Force Roshan Gunathilake also visited the Financial Crimes Investigation Division yesterday (10) to give a statement regarding the said MiG aircraft deal. After giving a statement for several hours, he left the premises of the Financial Crimes Investigation Division.
