DJ Chathur's racket, operated from a rented house in Panadura, is exposed.

Officers of the Panadura Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau have succeeded in raiding a luxurious three-story house located in the Nalluruwa area of Panadura and seizing a stock of items related to drug trafficking. Investigations have revealed that 'DJ Chathur', a chief disciple of 'Randika', who operates the drug network of 'Panadura Kudu Salindu', an organized criminal residing abroad, from overseas, was residing in this house with his mistress on a rental basis for a monthly sum of Rs. 70,000.

Based on suspicion arising from the house being constantly closed despite being rented, this raid was carried out following a confidential tip received by the Panadura Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau. During the raid, five small packets prepared for showing as samples when supplying heroin in bulk, papers printed with various logos for packaging drugs, a stock of special paper used for printing them, and a paper cutting machine were taken into custody by the officers.

Furthermore, three mobile phones, a stock of gold-plated jewelry, and memory cards containing operational data of security camera systems were also found in the house. It is also stated that the CCTV camera system installed to cover the interior and exterior of the three-story house, from the ground floor to the top floor, was configured to be monitored from any location via mobile phones.

A room equipped with large screens and specialized communication technology devices, set up to directly connect with individuals in foreign countries, was also maintained within the house. At the time of the raid, the suspects had fled, and the police are conducting further investigations to apprehend 'DJ Chathur', a large-scale drug trafficker, and his associates.
