A person identified by the police as having died in prison came home.

That a person named D. M. Keerthisena, residing in the Kohobankulama area of Galgamuwa, died while in prison

 After a notification made by the police, while funeral arrangements were being made for him, news is reported that the said person arrived home alive.

The Nanneriya Police had informed relatives that Mr. Keerthisena, who was detained at Wariyapola Prison, had died. Deeply saddened by this sudden news, relatives and residents immediately took steps to organize the final rites together.

Accordingly, at a moment when funeral banners were being displayed throughout the area, pandals were being erected for the wake, and all preliminary preparations for the cremation were underway, Mr. Keerthisena suddenly arrived home, astonishing everyone. With the person who was said to have died appearing alive at the very funeral site prepared for him, a highly controversial and astonishing atmosphere has been created throughout the entire village.
