
The Iranian government has now published the official list of foreign states participating in the funeral ceremony for Iran's spiritual leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who passed away after being subjected to an American attack. The announcement states that many high-level diplomats, representing various regions of the world, are expected to attend these funeral proceedings, which have garnered significant attention in the global political arena.
According to official information released by Iran, delegations from over 30 states across the world are expected to participate in this event. Accordingly, foreign representatives will attend, representing countries belonging to the Asian and European continents, as well as the African and Latin American regions. It is reported that political leaders and diplomats from many countries, including Sri Lanka, China, Russia, India, Cuba, Nicaragua, the Republic of Congo, Gambia, and Tajikistan, are among them.
A special delegation representing Sri Lanka is scheduled to participate in this diplomatic funeral ceremony. Accordingly, it has been officially confirmed that Mr. Rizvi Salley, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, and Mr. Rauff Hakeem, Member of Parliament, will participate in this event, representing the country.
