Bill Gates - Warren Buffett, the former number 1 and 2 richest people in the world, have fallen out.

Billionaire investor Warren Buffett has decided to suspend his annual donation to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which he has continuously made over the past two decades. Accordingly, it is reported that Buffett has postponed the donation, which was scheduled to be made in the middle of this year.

Sources familiar with the matter say that Buffett has postponed his decision to be informed of the results of investigations into the relationship between Jeffrey Epstein, who was serving in the Air Force, and the Gates Foundation. A law firm has been engaged to review such relationships of the Gates Foundation, and its report is expected this summer. Buffett is scheduled to announce his decision later this year.

From 2006 to 2025, Buffett has donated approximately US$48 billion to the Gates Foundation. Buffett resigned from the foundation's board of trustees in 2021 after the divorce of Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates. Meanwhile, it is said that the personal relationship between Bill Gates and Warren Buffett has also been somewhat damaged after the release of the Epstein files.

It is stated that this decision will not affect his contributions to his family foundations. The Gates Foundation is currently reviewing its future plans, including matters related to Epstein. Buffett is expected to announce his final decision by the end of this year.
