It has now been revealed that Iran is using Chinese satellite technology to accurately target sensitive American military bases in the Middle East. A former British intelligence officer has stated that China is waging a proxy war against the United States through this series of attacks in the Middle East.
Sources indicate that China's intervention in this conflict between the US and Iran is a significant threat that could alter the security balance in the Pacific region and redraw the regional security map.For these targeted attacks, Iran is using the Chinese satellite named 'TEE-01B', which provides very clear images, obtained through an agreement with a high-tech company based in Beijing. However, China has officially denied providing direct military assistance to Iran. Previously, it was believed that Russia was providing the satellite imagery intelligence needed for Iran to target American bases so successfully.
Due to the conflicts in the Middle East, American military equipment worth billions of pounds has been destroyed, and 16 American soldiers have lost their lives. Last Saturday, two American officers were killed in an attack on the Muwaffaq airbase in Jordan, and on the same night, Iranian missile attacks were launched against other American bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia. According to data released in May, approximately 228 American military installations have been attacked since the conflict began, and that number is believed to have increased further by now. The destroyed assets include fighter jets, intelligence-gathering aircraft, main radars, communication, and air defense equipment. This situation clearly demonstrates the vulnerability of forward American airbases in locations like Guam in the Pacific region.
According to former British military intelligence officer Philip Ingram, China is studying how to penetrate American defense systems through every successful Iranian attack. He further stated that China takes advantage of every opportunity to test its military capabilities against the Americans. Intelligence agencies observe that as the US depletes its weapon reserves and further weakens, China is indirectly supporting Iran and Russia in the war, thereby further developing its own warfare and targeting technology.
Meanwhile, Iran also launched attacks on Jordan yesterday, with three missiles successfully intercepted. A fourth missile landed in an uninhabited area, and warning sirens sounded in Amman, the capital of Jordan. Additionally, Iranian missile attacks have targeted the port city of Aqaba. Furthermore, Kuwait has stated that Iran attacked its water purification plant for the second time. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is also currently investigating an attack on a site where Iran intended to build a nuclear power plant.
Amidst the current wartime situation, Qatar and Iraq are working behind the scenes to act as peaceful mediators between the US and Israel. However, due to the ongoing conflicts, the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial sea lane for global trade, has already been completely closed.
