Two male dead bodies

The Police Media Spokesperson's Office states that two male bodies were found floating in the police divisions of Wanathawilluwa and Kaduwela. Investigations into this matter have commenced based on information received by the respective police stations on the afternoon of June 20th.

The identity of the male body found floating in Willuwa, which belongs to the Wanathawilluwa police division, has not yet been confirmed. Wanathawilluwa Police have launched investigations based on information received from residents, and the body of the deceased has currently been placed in the mortuary of Puttalam Hospital. Wanathawilluwa Police are conducting further investigations into this matter.

Meanwhile, the other male body, found floating in the Kelani River in the Bogahawatta area, which belongs to the Kaduwela police division, was also discovered on the afternoon of the same day. Initial investigations conducted based on information received by the Kaduwela Police Station revealed that the deceased was a 38-year-old individual residing in the Thiththapaththara area. The body has been placed in the mortuary of the Eastern Colombo Hospital for a post-mortem examination, and Kaduwela Police are conducting further investigations.
