Bank accounts of the mother of the Anuradhapura girl are being examined to find out the amount of money Saadu deposited.

Anuradhapura Chief Magistrate Siyapath Sasindu Wickramarathna has ordered all state and private bank managements to immediately provide detailed reports regarding the bank accounts held in the name of the minor girl's mother to the Nittambuwa Police, in connection with the alleged incident where Atamasthanadhipathi Pallegama Hemarathana Thero abused a minor girl.

Additionally, the Chief Magistrate has separately issued orders to all state and private telephone companies in the country to take steps to provide analysis reports related to the mobile phone numbers used by the suspect Pallegama Hemarathana Thero and the phone numbers used by the abused minor girl to the police without delay. These orders were issued considering a request made by the Nittambuwa Police, who are conducting extensive investigations into the incident.

Meanwhile, the Colombo Remand Prison Superintendent had previously been ordered to present the suspect Pallegama Hemarathana Thero, who is currently receiving inpatient treatment at the Colombo National Hospital while being held in remand custody in connection with the alleged abuse, before the Anuradhapura Chief Magistrate's Court on the upcoming 22nd. According to an order given by Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena, the first suspect Thero is currently in remand custody until the upcoming 22nd.

The court has also taken steps to further remand the victim girl's mother, who was arrested and remanded on the charge of intentionally giving her minor daughter for money, until the upcoming 22nd. When the case was called before the Anuradhapura Chief Magistrate's Court, the Nittambuwa Police presented a further report stating that the extracts related to this criminal investigation have already been forwarded to the Attorney General for instructions.
