All arrangements are now in place for the semi-final matches of the 2026 International Cricket Council Men's T20 World Cup tournament. Following the conclusion of intense matches in the Super 8 stage, the four strong teams of South Africa, New Zealand, England, and India have thus qualified for the semi-finals.

These four teams entered the semi-finals after overcoming unique challenges. The South African team remained undefeated throughout the tournament, managing to top their group, while India entered the semi-finals in a very close manner due to Sanju Samson's excellent batting. Meanwhile, England dominated their group, and the New Zealand team got the opportunity to advance to this round based on Net Run Rate.

The first semi-final match of the tournament is scheduled to be held tomorrow, Wednesday, March 4, 2026, where the undefeated South African team and the New Zealand team will clash. This match will be held at Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata and is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM. Due to their undefeated record maintained throughout the tournament so far, the South African team is considered the strongest team in this match.

The second semi-final match will be played between England and India on Thursday, March 5, 2026. This match, held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, will start at 7:00 PM. As neither of these matches has started yet, no team is currently leading the tournament, and official scores will be visible after the matches begin.

The two winners of these semi-final matches will qualify for the tournament's grand final. That grand final is planned to be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. That match is also scheduled to start at 7:00 PM Indian time and 1:30 PM GMT.
