Reports: Iran's new supreme leader in a 'coma' state

The first official statement by Iran's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has been broadcast on the country's state television, even as various media reports continue to emerge that he is severely wounded and in a coma. The 56-year-old Mojtaba Khamenei, who assumed office after his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was assassinated in the joint American and Israeli operation 'Operation Epic Fury' launched under the direction of Donald Trump, did not appear before the camera when this statement was issued.

Instead, his message was read by a television news anchor, and the reason for this is believed to be that he too sustained serious injuries in the attacks on February 28.

Secret sources providing information on his health condition state that Khamenei has suffered severe damage to his abdomen or liver, and has possibly lost one of his legs. Despite the suspension of internet connections, information received indicates that he is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit at Sina University Hospital in Tehran, under strict security and the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Reza Safargandi. However, Yousef Peseshkian, the son of the Iranian President and a government advisor, has rejected these rumors, stating that the new Supreme Leader is safe and healthy. Furthermore, some officials who spoke to the New York Times have stated that although he has a leg injury, he is not in a coma and is being held in a secret secure location with limited communication facilities.

In his official statement broadcast on television, he emphasized that avenging the blood of the assassinated Iranians is his top priority. The statement also indicates that proper compensation will be obtained from the enemy, and if they do not agree, he will not hesitate to destroy enemy property or bring it under his control. Furthermore, he warns that all American military bases in the region must be immediately withdrawn, and has informed regional countries that he has decided to continuously close the Strait of Hormuz, through which one-fifth of the world's oil supply passes, to put pressure on the enemies, and to launch attacks on Dubai.
