Today, March 2, 2026, as the military operation "Operation Epic Fury" launched by the United States and Israel against Iran continues to escalate, numerous severe military situations have been reported from Kuwait. In response to the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and hundreds of others due to American and Israeli attacks, Iran has launched this massive series of missile and drone attacks across the Gulf region.

In addition to Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain have also been subjected to these attacks, and with Hezbollah in Lebanon intervening in the war, the stability of the entire region is under severe threat.

Amidst this turbulent atmosphere, the most significant incident reported from Kuwait is the accidental downing of three American F-15 fighter jets by Kuwaiti air defense systems. These American aircraft, which were supporting operations against Iran, were hit by friendly fire while Iranian fighter jets, ballistic missiles, and drones were traversing the region. However, official reports, including from the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), have confirmed that all six pilots from the downed aircraft safely ejected and are currently in stable health. This is also reported as the first confirmed instance of the U.S. losing its aircraft in the current conflict.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, which initially announced that several American aircraft had crashed within its territory and their crew had safely escaped, further stated that it has launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident. U.S. authorities also believe that this incident may have occurred due to the intense confusion caused by Iranian attacks. Concurrently, Iran has launched a series of severe attacks targeting American military bases and assets established in Kuwait. Video footage showing a drone attack on 'Camp Buehring,' one of the main targets, exploding, has now been released to the media.

Furthermore, reports indicate that four American soldiers have been killed and several others wounded due to these Iranian attacks targeting U.S. military assets in Kuwait. Additionally, an Iranian missile or drone attack has occurred near the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait City, with large plumes of smoke and fires observed in the vicinity. Although no casualties have been officially reported from the embassy compound so far, severe warnings have been issued to American citizens to evacuate the area to safe locations and to remain indoors. Amidst intense aerial attacks, warning sirens are constantly sounding across Kuwait, and the country remains on high alert, with daily activities, including power outages, disrupted due to falling debris from Iranian missiles and drones destroyed by air defense systems.

Although a full-scale ground war or direct U.S.-Iran ground clashes have not yet begun in Kuwait, the country's airspace and its American bases have been severely impacted by this war situation. International media organizations such as CNN, BBC, AP, Reuters, and Al Jazeera are continuously reporting live information on this extremely critical and constantly evolving war situation.
