Considering the current situation in the Middle East region, SriLankan Airlines has taken steps to temporarily suspend all flights operating from Colombo to Middle Eastern destinations. The company informs its customers that this flight suspension will be effective until March 03, 2026, at 11:59 PM (23:59 hours).
This decision has directly disrupted several flight services. Under this, flights UL225, UL226, UL231, and UL232 operating between Colombo and Dubai, and flights UL217 and UL218 operating between Colombo and Doha have been suspended. Additionally, flights UL253 and UL254 between Colombo and Dammam, UL265 and UL266 between Colombo and Riyadh, and UL229 and UL230 between Colombo and Kuwait are also affected.
Passengers inconvenienced by flight cancellations have been provided with facilities to contact SriLankan Airlines' Global Contact Center for necessary assistance and further information. Passengers within Sri Lanka can call 1979, and international passengers can call +94 11 777 1979. Furthermore, the airline advises passengers to visit the company's official website www.srilankan.com for rebooking flights and other requirements, or to contact the nearest SriLankan Airlines office or relevant travel agents.
