An Abu Dhabi resident killed after a missile crashed onto a car

Authorities in the country confirm that one person has died after a missile crashed onto a civilian vehicle in the Al Bahyah area of Abu Dhabi. The person killed in this attack has now been identified as a Palestinian national.

Following this incident, authorities in the United Arab Emirates have strongly advised the public to use only official and verified government sources for information. Due to this drone attack, all Emirates flights were temporarily suspended, but authorities have resumed operations under a limited schedule from 10:00 AM UAE time. Some flights have been completely cancelled, and several other aircraft have been diverted to Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), so passengers have been advised to check with the respective airlines for updated information regarding their flights. Authorities state that the overall situation is now completely under control, and further information will be released through official media channels.
