A group of Sri Lankans stranded in Dubai returned to the island

A plane carrying a group of Sri Lankans stranded at Dubai International Airport due to the Middle East conflict arrived at Katunayake International Airport this morning.




Katunayake Airport sources stated that this aircraft, belonging to FitsAir, arrived with 133 passengers around 12:05 AM this morning.

Meanwhile, another flight from Muscat, Oman, also arrived at Katunayake International Airport this morning.




It is reported that flights, which were suspended due to the outbreak of the Middle East conflict, resumed yesterday (20) afternoon.

Accordingly, a FitsAir flight departed from Katunayake Airport for Dubai yesterday afternoon at 1:20 PM, carrying 47 passengers and 10 crew members.
