American authorities have arrested a Russian-flagged vessel in the North Atlantic suspected of engaging in illegal oil transportation in violation of American sanctions. Concurrently with this operation, another oil tanker has been seized in the Caribbean region. America states that both these vessels belong to a group known as "Ghost fleet" which operates secretly, circumventing international laws and regulations.

The White House had also called a special press conference to clarify the facts regarding this incident.

The UK Ministry of Defence confirms that the British armed forces provided full support for the operation to seize this vessel. Specifically, the British Royal Air Force (RAF) and Royal Navy provided aerial surveillance and naval assistance. Flight data has revealed that several special military aircraft were involved in surveillance activities in the area, operating via airports in Scotland and Iceland. The British Defence Secretary states that this is a joint effort to ensure global security.

Russia's Ministry of Transport strongly condemns this action and states that the vessel in question only had temporary permission to use the Russian flag. Russia emphasizes that no state has the right to exert authority over a vessel registered under the jurisdiction of another country in international waters. Russian authorities state that the American Navy boarded the vessel at approximately 3:00 PM Moscow time, after which all communication with the vessel was completely lost.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs requests that the United States provide humanitarian and proper treatment to the Russian citizens on board the vessel, and the Moscow government insists that their rights be protected and that their return to Russia not be obstructed. British security forces indicate that Britain will continue to take action against networks circumventing Russian and Iranian sanctions, and that such actions contribute to terrorism and conflict. It is reported that the vessel, historically linked to the transportation of Venezuelan and Iranian crude oil, was empty at the time of its seizure.
