Search at Kandy District Secretariat due to bomb email

Today (26), a special search operation was launched at the Kandy District Secretariat. This was due to a threat received via an anonymous email message stating that there was a bomb there.

The Sri Lanka Police and the Police Special Task Force have been deployed for this operation. Their objective is to search the relevant premises and ensure security. According to reports, further investigations are currently underway.
