Foreign Tourist Plunges 100 Feet from Ella Little Sripada Viewpoint

A British national woman who had come to view the Little Sripada mountain, located in the 03 Kanuwa area within the Ella Police Division, fell down a cliff approximately 100 feet high this afternoon (18).

The foreign woman, who was involved in the accident, was rescued with difficulty by a rescue team established with the cooperation of a local hotel.

After being brought up from the cliff, she was immediately admitted to Badulla General Hospital via the 1990 ambulance service, it is reported.
