Aluthkade Court Murder: Ishara Sewwandi Still Missing

The disappearance of Ishara Sewwandi, who is considered the mastermind behind the murder of the notorious underworld leader Ganemulle Sanjeeva near the Aluthkade Court, has become a major challenge for the investigating officers.

Despite police teams inspecting nearly 200 locations, no credible information about the suspect has been found so far.

Did Ishara Sewwandi Escape the Country?

Investigators strongly suspect that she may have fled to India by sea. However, this has not yet been confirmed, especially since her mobile phone usage has completely stopped, making it difficult to trace her movements or current whereabouts.

According to police reports, two days after the murder, Ishara Sewwandi visited a jewelry store in Kalutara and obtained gold jewelry worth around Rs. 500,000. Since then, there have been no significant leads regarding her location.
