About 12,000 people have been isolated in the Rajanganaya area due to the identification of a group of Kovid patients, said Director General of Health Services, Dr Anil Jasinghe.

The Director-General of Health Services stated that there are 12,000 in the area and that the area is currently in a 'lockdown' state. He added that the virus could not be controlled without doing so. Nearly 400 people in Rajanganaya area have been evacuated to PCR. Health officials say they have been referred for testing.
So far, 532 infected people have been identified from the Kandakadu cluster.
