In the end ... Purnika weds Peshala

Purnika Pieris, an announcer of Derana channel wedded Peshala Manoj, a campus lecturer who presents programmes over the same channel ... last week. Purnika in fact is a mother of a five year old mother of a marriage to an announcer of Deran itself, Sahan Abeysekera. Sometime back, Chathurika was engaged to Roshan Pilapitiya whom who dropped and then entered into marriage with Gayan ... a father of a two year child and the

manner in which that marriage took place is similar to the one which created a sensation finally Purnika separated from Sahan in February, 2017; but has not told any reasons for it. However, Sahan has told a newspaper that Purnika was caught with Peshala in an apartment. It was Chathurika's husband Gayan who who rejected that story on behalf of Purnika. What he said was that it is a utterly false and because Purnika decided to leave Sahan as someone who was involved in homosexual activities for which reason Sahan has circulated something to throw mud. It was during the same period Gayan had identified Roshan.

Gayan had spoke in this manner on an inquiry made to Gossip Lanka those days about this. "I associate Purnika nangi very closely. I know what happened here. Getting caught inside an apartment is an utter lie. I am quite sure that a thing like that did not happen at all. What happened here was is something different. After getting caught having some alliance with a male, the wife came home bringing the child home. Nangi's jeep too was taken away. Now after taking nangi's jeep ... is asking a part of the house also. What happened to Chathurika also is something similar to that. See .. by the middle of this year, all those who are talking that way will lose all those things by law". 

* Then what about the story that has spread regarding Peshala's connection with Manoj?

  It is by saying that Peshala has a connection with Manoj that this fellow has diverted the issue in another direction. Will we allow Peshala to have another connection? He also is a married person. The other thing is Peshala's lifestyle also is different. Nangi has no necessity to have an alliance with him. But even if does happen; I would be happy...  because he is not a man - man. What I say is it does not matter even if nangi goes with someone who lifts and carries gunny bags ... without going with a xxxxx like this.

Whatever it is, by giving an interview to Rivira newspaper in the month of February, 2017 Peshala has rejected all these talks saying Peshala does not maintain a connection like this with Purnika. At that time Gayan has explained to a newspaper that he is a married man and that he lives as a bachelor with the mother and father. Peshala has said so to the newspaper. 

* Having broken up a a popular family ... it is heard that Peshala is getting ready to enjoy family life with that family. Is this story true? 

  I heard that story that very same way. But that story carries no truth with it as such ... because I have no necessity to break up a good family and make up a family of my own. At the same time I want to say that if the family life was okay, it won't break in that manner. That story is absolutely false. 

* Then what about the story of living with her separately?

  It is from those who spread that story I must ask under what basis I am linked to their talk. But I live with my mother and father. When I leave home in the morning for my activities, it is late when I come back. It is my mother who prepare the meals for me and even wash my clothes. 

It's said that there is no smoke without fire. It is from the very person who set fire how the smoke arose. We are poor, normal people. We have been brought up well. If I had such a craving desire ... I could have genuinely married the announcer called Purnika Pieris after getting divorced ... not only her; anyone for that matter. But I have no connection with her at all. Some artistes who said that they had no connection ... enjoy such a love affair in public .. in a short period of time. 

* Will Peshala also do the same thing?

  If I have a connection with Peshala, I will say so openly now ... won't leave it to be said later. At the same time there is a rumour that I have made three marriages. How can I get married three times ... I even came to Sri Lanka in the year 2010. 

This is the idea expressed by Purnika in 2017. "Aney sorry ... I don't like to say anything about it. That child is attending the Montessori now. I do not like to bring disgrace to that child's life at all. Therefore I will not say anything regarding that subject. I will not do the stupid things that they are doing. Son is in my custody. It is I who take him to the Montessori and do everything. So I do not wish to talk anything about it". Whatever it is, after the lapse of 3 years, Purnika and Peshala have come under one roof.
