Two "Sudu van" drivers who came to media briefing with Rajitha ... into custody

The two persons who made statements about kidnapping by white-coloured vans and transportation of 7,000 tons of gold and who joined a media discussion with former minister Rajitha Senaratna in the last presidential period has been taken into custody last night (13) by criminal investigation department. They have been so arrested when inside a restaurant called 'Shri' in Mahara,
Kadawatha. 

The referred to driver mentioned at the media discussion held in the company of Rajitha Senaratna that people were kidnapped in white-coloured vans and were killed and thrown to crocodiles during the time Gotabhaya Rajapaksa was minister of defense and that he was the driver of one of those white-coloured vans. 

The other person who participated in the media discussion said that he transported to Colombo a quantity of 7,000 tons of gold belonging to Prabhakaran with the purpose of handing it over to Gotabhaya Rajapaksa. Since the statements made by them are of a serious nature, criminal investigation department have taken these two persons into custody for interrogation purposes.
