Day when Gotabhaya's only son wedded a relative of Shiranthi

Presidential candidate Gotabhaya and his wife has only one son and he lives in America and by name, Damminda Manoj Rajapaksa. Damminda Manoj Rajapaksa born in 1982 is now passing his 37th year. He has had his education in America even from his small days. Having first gained his education at Travick Central College proceeded to secure his secondary education at Kevina High School. He at present is employed after receiving his higher education at America's Durham Duke
University. 

About 8 years back in the month of July, 2011 the wedding of Gotabhaya Rajapaksa's son took place at Colombo Hilton hotel. At the time he arrived in Sri Lanka it was the present presidential candidate Gotabhaya Rajapaksa who was the secretary of defence. 

It is something special to note that Damminda Manoj in fact married a daughter by relationship of Mrs. Shiranthi who happened to be the president at that time. The wife of Damminda Manoj  is Sewwandi Liyanaarachchi. She is the daughter of Chandra Liyanaarachchi couple. As she was a relation-daughter on Mrs. Shiranthi Rajapaksa's side, it was Mahinda and Shiranthi at the wedding ceremony. Both of them signing on that occasion is something special.
