"My wife died not because of Deegoda Kumara ... she was sick one and a half hours before programme" -- husband of deceased Dinusha

Dinusha de Silva (39), the mother of one child from Waskaduwa, Kalutara while on her way to Anuradhapura Horowpathana playground where patients were being revived through universal powers when her sickness had turned for the worse and after being admitted to Horowpathana hospital she had passed away. Media reports published yesterday (9) incorrectly report that deceased Dinusha de Silva passed away during the session when patients were attending the service and her husband, Mr. Warna Gunasekera (41) has made allegations in this regard.

This is what he said: "It is my wife who passed away. We have one daughter. My daughter is studying
in grade six in a school in Panadura. My wife fell sick one month after delivering the baby. Though we treated her with Western and local medicine she was not cured. We heard about a programme conducted in Horowpathana, Anuradhapura where cure is effected through universal powers. We then proceeded to that place with Dinusha and some members of the family. About one and a half hours before the programme started Dinusha found it difficult to breathe. At that point we took her to Horowpathana hospital; but came to know that she passed away a short while later.

All of us were surprised to find that information about her death was published by electronic and printed media in a distorted manner. Without inquiring about relevant details and not inquiring from those who cure patients by universal power, this information was published, thus inconveniencing the person who was engaged in curing the patients as well as about fifteen thousand persons who had gathered there. What I say is that the said programme in no way influenced the death of my wife".
