Gnanasara thero expresses ideas

Galgodaaththe Gnanasara thero, general secretary of Bodu Bala Sena organisation managed to get Presidential pardon this evening having been imprisoned for a period of 6 years for contempt of court and was released on written permission, confirmed prison commissioner general. As such, the thero obtained his release this evening and would be leaving the prisons. A large crowd including maha sangha rocked in front of Welikada prisons till the thero came out , it was reported at 5.30 in the evening. Minister Mahinda Amaraweera
yesterday has said that President has not placed his signature yesterday granting pardon to the thero and minister of justice, Mrs. Thalatha Athukorala was not aware of this.
