Girl who said "Let's kiss" and pinches gold items of wealthy boys ... cornered!

Seeduwa police say that a girl who operated an organised clique which robbed gold jewellery in a clever manner after making friends with boys adorned with gold jewellery was taken into custody on 14th. 

This suspect, supposed to be an attractive girl is 21 years of age, living in Banduragoda area and it is reported that she was engaged in this robbery while temporarily putting up at a hostel in
Amandoluwa. 

It was revealed at initial investigations that this organised robbery was continuously conducted by the suspect getting together with two young boys of Aandiambalama. This lady used to pursue boys wearing gold items and subsequently make friendships with them and later motivate them to kiss her by getting them down to a shrubby forest where people do not frequent after which with two young men whom she has arranged in advance would arrive on the scene and place a sharp instrument at the throat of the boy who now becomes a prey and thus snatch his necklace in the process, it was revealed at preliminary inquiries. 

This incident came into the ears of Seeduwa police and they used the services of a decoy and had ambushed the area in the vicinity of trade zone in Everiwattha area and had conducted the raid and were successful in arresting that lady and the two boys. Under supervision of deputy inspector general of police in charge of North West, Mr. Deshabandu Tennakoon ... on prompt information received across the programme 'Kelinma kiyanna', this raid was conducted.
