Madush being apprehended -- Feb. 14 morning Update            Two luxury vehicles belonging to Madush's present wife ... found

A deluxe luxury Prado jeep and a KDA type van belonging to Makandure Madush's present wife were taken into custody last evening found hidden in a house in Sapugaskanda area. It was reported that these two vehicles had been registered in Madush's present wife and that those were parked in her 'punchi amma's ' house. 

This mistress of Madush happens to be the wife of underworld leader Kalu Thushara who died sometime back. After Kalu Thushara died as a result of the shooting incident at prison, she then

became Madush's second wife. The birthday party held recently was to commemorate the maiden year of birth of the daughter born to Madush.

Connection between Amal Perera and Nalaka Silva

Police yesterday stated in the presence of Colombo, Fort Magistrate Mr. Ranga Dissanayaka when the case was taken up for hearing that it was revealed that there is a close affinity between singer Amal Perera and Mr. Nalaka de Silva who presently is in custody as a suspect in the President-coup and that on August 22nd, 2016 Amal Perera has visited Mr. Nalaka de Silva at the latter's office.  

The incidence of the police constable on security at Mr. Nalaka de Silva questioning the singer as to why he has come has posed a problem and the officer in charge has imposed three counts of punishment to the said constable ... officer in charge of Criminal Investigation Department said in presence of court. Chief Inspector of Police, Mr. Ranjith Munasingha further mentioned that after that incident, the former officer in charge has transferred the said constable on August 1st, in the year 2016. 

Kanchipana Imran's financial manager taken into custody

The financial manager of underground leader Kanchipan Imran who presently is under Dubai Police custody was yesterday (13) evening taken into custody. Aswer who functioned as the financial manager of Kanchipana Imran's heroin racket has been nabbed in Maligawaththa area and from his earnings in narcotics has by now is engaged in building a 5-floor house in Maligawattha, it was reported. 

Vehicles of Madush checked in Dubai Hotel

All motor vehicles that have been parked at Dubai Hotel which vehicles transported Madush presently in custody and other narcotics dealers have by now taken into Dubai Police and all those vehicles have been subjected to a special team of police officers, it is reported. About twenty vehicles inclusive of the luxury vehicle in which Madush has arrived for this party is under police custody, it is understood. 

Nadeemal's blood report

It has been confirmed in blood reports secured from eighteen persons who attended the party that narcotics were found in their body while Attorney at law, Udul Premaratna has informed that blood samples of Amal Perera and his son Nadeemal do not contain indication of illicit drugs, it was confirmed and that he could be released. However in yet another report no such thing has been reported. It was stated in the second report that all 31 persons apprehended for using narcotics are expected to be produced before court. 

Angoda Lokka supposed to have been nabbed in another hotel

It was previously reported that Angoda Lokka was captured across CCTV camera system and was said to have fled at the time police raided the hotel. Further reports have been received in that connection and it is understood that apprehending Angoda Lokka being cornered after a most difficult survey and at the time he was finally taken into custody he had gone into hiding in a large similar hotel such as this in Abu Dhabi.
