What happened to Duminda who continuously was absent from parliament? -- Wijedasa and Wasantha present only one day
It is reported of a minister who did not turn up on all four days of November 14, 15, 16 and 19 who kept on looking at unspecific parliament meetings thinking as to what would happen to the whole country. It is Duminda Dissanayaka. He has kept away from parliament continuously.
He is someone who gave his support to Maithripala Sirisena who came in as the common candidate in 2014 when Mahinda left the government complaining that his Late father Berty Premalal suffered as a result of Mahinda's disposition. Recently when ministerial positions were conferred he had kept
to a side and there were rumours that he was not to support the government. Though he has taken oaths as a minister of the cabinet, he has so far not gone to takeover his duties.
Wasantha Senanayaka too has come to parliament only on the 14th. Wijedasa Rajapaksa too has come last 14th only. Dilum Amunugama on the other hand turned up only on the 15th. In any case Dilum Amunugama having tried to pull the Speaker's microphone wire had got his hand injured and was hospitalised and maybe for that reason he would have had difficulties in coming to parliament.
