Kotthu, plain tea, packet of rice ... prices all come down because of Mahinda!
All Island Restaurant Owners' Association has taken steps to bring down prices of several food items from tomorrow (29) in connection with the prevalent political situation. As such, it has been decided to bring down the price of a packet of rice and Kotthu by Rs. 10 while the price of a plain tea has decreased by Rs. , president of the association Mr. Asela Sampath says.
Mr. Asela Sampath who expresses his ideas in this respect said: "Now a hopeful environment has
dawned for us. We have complete faith in the President's decision and present Prime Minister's vision. We took this decision as a green light that has been lit".
Apart from that, he also mentioned that taxes on essential food items should be brought down and that action would be taken to bring down a sealing on food items and thus better benefits be afforded to the masses".
