As a result of the fire that broke out at Cool Planet private sales outlet situated at Pelawatta junction, Battaramulla, police said that 174 bus route of Borella - Kottawa has been completely closed down.

This place which sells clothing and other items was this fire had broken out on 11th morning, today; but the reason for the fire has still not been revealed. A Bell 212 aircraft has been used to control the

fire while 8 vehicles of the fire brigade belonging to Kotte and Colombo municipal councils were deployed in this instance with 25 officers in attendance.

Because of the fire, all traffic on this route has come to a halt and since employees of private and government institutions have assembled to view this phenomenon, office activities have been interrupted.
