Minister Faizar Mustapha is uncle of Sri Lankan student arrested in suspicion in Australia -- grandfather, former chairman of Bank of Ceylon!
Mohommed Nizamdeen the 25 year old student undergoing studies in Business Analysis at New South Wales University in Australia with student visa was sometime back arrested by Federal Police and is presently in remand prison.
On a special survey conducted by the police in that country about him, the Australian media has revealed that his uncle happens to be Sri Lanka's Minister of Local Government and Sports, Mr. Faizer Mustapha while his grandfather is former chairman of Bank of Ceylon, the Late Jehan Kameer
Casim. As reported by ABC News Service, Mohommed Nizamdeen who was taken into custody last 30th is accused of involved in planning the assassination of Australia's Malcolm Turnbull and former Prime Minister Julie Bishop and in creating a bomb blast in association with the campus concerned.
At the time he was arrested, there had been a number of documents saved in his note book computer relating to this scheme of operation and on scrutinising the documents it was exposed that in addition to the said persons, plans to assassinate former Speaker Bronwyn Bishop and to explode bombs within a reputed icon in Australia, House were detected. Apart from all that, chief railways, police stations and inside Australia's port city were locations where information about bombs being blast were found in this scheme of plans. Mohommed Nizamdeen who had marked targetted points of attack had mentioned names linked to such attacks and accordingly Federal Police suspect that therefore he has connections with the ISIS Organisation.
While being registered for the Bachelor of Arts degree at Australia's New South Wales University and is undergoing studies in that direction, he has been involved in a profession related to Business Information Technology from year 2016. It is mentioned in ABC News that he was involved in processes of a programme documentary system which stops those who hack computer internet networks in his work.
His student visa period will be over this week and after being taken into custody as it is necessary that he is to be confined to jail, on a special request by the police, that period of visa is extended till the court case is on. He had not been granted bail when he was produced before courts last week and the court case has been postponed till 24th October.
