How driver was rescued after Badulla CTB bus fell into precipice ...killing student and injuring 34

An incident where a bus belonging to the Sri Lanka Transport Board falling into a precipice this morning at Badulla - Alugolla area was reported.

A 15 year old child died as a result and 34 sustained injuries. The injured were admitted to Badulla general hospital and the condition of three persons is serious, it was reported. It was revealed later

that the bus has fallen at a narrow spot on the route in having tried to allow room for another vehicle to pass.

The deceased, a student had been on his way to attend a tuition class and was from Kandegedera area. After the accident the bus driver was found stuck at the same place and scenes of the moment when he was rescued is seen from this video
