Sri Lanka record win in one-day cricket match trouncing India after some time!
The Sri Lanka cricket team who tasted bitter defeats right along during the past period came out with a memorable victory today by winning the one-day match in a distinguished manner by defeating India.
The Indian team who batted first in today's (10) one-dayer accumulated just 112 runs being all out in only
38.2 overs. India flopped against the bowling of Suranga Lakmal (13/4) and they were just 29 for 7 at one stage. However, the swashbuckling innings played by Mahendra Singh Dhoni was not sufficient enough to drag them out of the woods. He had collected 65 runs.
Suranga Lakmal was capable of recording his best figures in his one-day matches. Right from the beginning of the game Suranga Lakmal who opened bowling continued bowling his spell of 10 overs at a stretch and finished up with 4 wickets for 13 and in the process bowled 4 maiden overs too. The Sri Lankan team who pursued a target of 113 runs managed to clinch a victory of 7 wickets in the end.
