Person who tried to enter Mahinda's official residence ... taken into custody

Police took steps to arrest a person who tried to enter former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo 7 this evening (21).

It certainly was a strange instance of this person

arriving at a place which was safely guarded and the police say that it has so far not been revealed as for what purpose he had come. At initial inquiries it was revealed that he had been identified as a person from from Balangoda area. Police say that the person taken into custody would be subjected to further investigation.
