5 storey hotel being constructed in Ahangama ... collapses! (video)

A 5 storey building in Pelessa, Ahangama, Galle has collapsed this morning. 5 persons were injured at the time of the collapse and it is suspected that some others are stuck among the debris. During the search operations another injured person was found.

It was reported that this is a 5 storeyed building being constructed for a hotel project. At the time of

the accident it is reported that the workers were engaged only on the ground floor of the 5 storeyed building. 3-wheelers and motor cycles parked on the ground floor were smashed, it is reported.
