Concert of dear Prins ... a success!  Hospital bill covered by donations alone!

At the time the Late popular singer Prins Udaya Priyantha passed away, the hospital bill of Colombo Nawaloka Hospital was Rs. 25 lakhs and his dead body was released on the undertaking that this amount would be settled within the space of a month, it was then revealed. Under these circumstances the Sri Lanka Singers' Association with Kirthi Pasqual taking a

prominent stand got together with accomplished singers by holding a concert yesterday (14) at Maharagama Tharuna Seva Sabhava.

The participation of the singers concerned was free of charge and all publicity activities were carried out and accepted as donations given to Prins. Whatever the income was and donations given by those who graced the event alone actually covered the required amount of money in total happened to be in excess. Therefore it was a simple matter of footing that bill. Kirthi Pasqual who was instrumental in organising this activity with success has left a comment in the Facebook in the following manner
