Medamulana avurudu festival humiliates government by gifting toy Lamborghinis

An avurudu festival held today (13) at Medamulana Carlton House by constructively criticising programmes of the government was headed by former President Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa, it was reported. Events such as the blind breaking the pot, bursting balloons

signifying the Central Bank scandal, bursting Google wi-fi balloons, searching for coins inside stack of flour, keeping eye on the elephant signifying search for Lamborghinis, keeping eye on the golden horse, signifying tug-o-war between the two governments searching for the guest in hiding signifying person involved in the Central Bank swindle in broad daylight were labelled in that manner.

Local government and Provincial Council members representing the United Opposition of the Southern Province participated on this occasion. Winners of those competitions were presented with toy Lamborghinis and toy helicopters by Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa.
