Lady who went for a scan examination ... undressed and videoed by Kandy radiologist!
A lady patient who entered a private hospital in Kandy town had been made to undress in the scanning room and was videoed from a mobile phone by the suspect radiologist. He was produced before the Kandy Magistrate Mr. Indika Atthanayaka and remanded until the 6th of next month.
A lady who was suffering from a kidney ailment had entered this private hospital for a scan
examination. Subsequently she had entered the relevant room for the scanning process when the radiologist had blindfolded her and on the pretense of scanning her had videoed her nude body. The lady who suspected the proceedings had opened her eyes and had noticed the suspect radiologist videoing her naked body to which she protested at which moment the suspect radiologist had beat a retreat. She had then run behind him and grabbed his mobile phone, later reporting the incident to Kandy Police who promptly went into action and apprehended the culprit and brought him before courts after conducting an inquiry. On checking the suspect's mobile phone, nude photographs of the lady and the video concerned were found in it, the police confirmed.
