How future doctor Saheli Gamage sang the song 'Jiye tho jeeye kese' at SAITM Talent Show

Saheli Gamage who gained outstanding popularity for having sung 'Maha rajano' during the former regime has by now studied the medical degree at Tbilisi State Medical University and is a student who is preparing to embark on a career as a doctor.

One of the stories that circulate across social media these days is that she is one of the students who

was admitted to the SAITM in the initial stages of the institute, contradictory to regulations of the minimum requirements of securing Advanced Level qualifications and there is a rumour that she even did not possess the minimum qualifications to follow a course in medicine. She had secured that opportunity according to the influence of higher-ups. Already she had bade goodbye to SAITM and has proceeded to follow her advanced studies overseas.
