Sivajilingam mourns wearing black attire while two minutes silence observed for Jayalalitha in Northern Provincial council
The members of the Northern Provincial council who were present at the council observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to the late Jayalalitha Jeyaram the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
When the 67 session of the Northern Provincial council commenced under the chairman of the
council, the mark of respect to late Jayalalitha was accorded.
The Chief Minster had brought a proposal of condolences which the leader of the opposition had seconded.
A significant feature was that the member of the ruling party Sivajilingam had come clad in a black attire.
