Prabhakaran would have been the Prime Minister if he had lived -- Wijayakala
The compensation for those who lost property at the Kilinochchi common market fire took place on the 28th instant yesterday afternoon at the district secretariat premises by the courtesy of the ministry of resettlement. At the ceremony the state minister Wijayakala Maheshwaran had this to say:
"The President, Prime Minister and the members of the Tamil National Alliance have formed a
Yahapalanaya government. One clear intention of this government is to raise the lives of those living in the east and north. However after voting towards this it is not happening. What Mahinda Rajapaksa did everyone knows. The honest Grama Niladhari officers in the north have been sacked saying they are supporters of the TNA .If a comparison is made with this President and others no one could find a better person than Velupillai Prabhakaran. If the LTTE leader had lived today he would be even suitable to be the Prime Minister. After the death of Prabhakaran the Tamil people have become helpless."
