Wimal Kumara de Costa bids farewell
Proficient performer Wimal Kumara de Costa passed away today (20) at Kalubowila Hospital. He was ailing for some time and at the moment of his death he was 68 years old.
Born in Kelaniya he was also an Old Boy of Kelaniya Gurukula Vidyalaya and was an expert in the Art of Miming.
He was an actor who contributed to various roles during the golden era of the Sinhala cinema. Thus he was associated with the films Bambaru Ewith, Eya then Loku Lamayek, Sarungale, Ek Tem Ge, Ahas Gawwa, Sagarika, MaruwaSsamaga waase, Jeewithayen Jeewithayak, Sathara Diganthaya and Umayangana.
