Traffic arrangements for Dr Pandi Amaradeva's funeral on Saturday the 05th

A large number of mourners are predicted to pay their last respects to the remains of the music maestro. The traffic police expects a large number of mourners would flock to the Independence Square premises from early morning to about 7 pm.Hence a special traffic arrangement has been laid in the vicinity of
Independence Square.

It is reported that only labelled vehicles could enter into the Independence Square and certain by lanes.Hence the traffic police has requested all drivers of vehicles to use alternate roads.

For those who come to pay last  respects and for the funeral could park vehicles along Ananda Coomaraswany Mawatha, Rakakeeya Mawatha,Gregory's road,FR Senanayake Mawatha,Maitland Place,National Rupavahini pemises,Arcade, Foundation Institute,football federation grounds,Malalasekera Mawatha,Torrington and CR & FC grounds parking facilities have been arranged.
