Sixty five year old lover dies setting himself on fire for losing a love

A 65 year old man from Dehiwala  had been severely depressed and set himself on fire by pouring petrol on his body  as his illegitimate lover had broken off.After been burnt had been rushed to the Kalubowila Teaching hospital, but had succumbed after admission .

The incident had taken place at 11.30 pm on day before yesterday the 13th instant. The deceased

person is said to be a resident of Siyabalawala Imbulana Ruwanwella by name IP Jayaratne according to police information..

It is reported that the deceased had gone to temporary occupation to Dehiwala.The police had revealed that he had taken this action when he was depressed after a illegitimate love affair.

The postmortem was to be held at the Kalubowila Teaching hospital on the 14th instant.

The  Dehiwala police is investigationg  further into this incident
