Former Governor of Central Bank should be arrested at the BIA itself-Bandula

At a media briefing held in Colombo on the 1st instant the Member of Parliament of the joint opposition Bandula Gunawardena  had quipped that the former Governor of the Central Bank Arjun Mahendran should be arrested at the Bandaranaike Airport itself upon his arrival from Singapore.

Adding this he had said the the overall loss owing to this bond scandal is rupees billion 1000 and it is

not stated in the final Cope report and in this connection a committee comprising of a group of experts need to be appointed by the President. Adding further Bandula Gunawardena had said that the directors of the Perpetual Treasuries Company also should be arrested.

Adding further he had said that Arjuna Aloysius should also be arrested and the Prime Minister should tender his resignation.
