The authorities of the Road Development Authority have announced alternate traffic arrangements to ease the traffic congestion owing to the construction of the Rajagiriya flyover bridge at the Rajagiriya junction..

Accordingly the road stretch where vehicles are proceeding from Cotta road toward Battaramulla will

have to deviate from close to the proposed flyover bridge along the old cotta road towards Buthgamua road and emerge from near the petrol filling station back to the Sri Jayewardenapura main road..

Those vehicles coming from Battaramulla area should take the HSBC road ( Buthgamuwa cross road) could join onto the Sri Jayewardenapura main road.
