Those house premises prone to breed dengue mosquitoes, a red notice before filing legal action
The additional Magistrate of the Magistrate's courts Mt Lavinia Lochani Abeywickrema had advised the public health inspectors of the Dehiwala Mt Lavinia Municipal council to identify the houses under the purview of the Municipal Council which are prone to breeding the dengue mosquitoes and to paste red notices at these premises prior to filing legal action.
This the Additional Magistrate had said while she was examining a case pertaining to a household
filed for having detected dengue breeding mosquitoes by the public health inspectors attached to the Dehiwala Mt Lavinia Municipal Council.
In this case a Maldivian national had been the defendant who had told the Additional Magistrate that a group belonging to a certain political party had inspected his house had found some dengue breeding mosquitoes in an sanitary suit but he had not known of it earlier.But however he would bow down to the law.The Additional Magistrate had warned the Maldivian national and discharged him.After that the Additional Magistrate had instructed the public health inspectors to warn the offenders initially by fixing warning notices before cases are filed.
