Principal commits suicide when an investigation for a misconduct was been conducted

It is reported that when the officials of the  national child protection authority had visited the residence of the Principal in the Kotadeniyawa area in Minuwangoda to investigate to a complaint made against him for a

misconduct.

The Principal had got agitated  when the authorities of the national child protection authority and taken poison.He had succumbed after admission to hospital.

The Principal had died this way on the 12th instant yesterday at around 2 pm is a resident of Bothalegama,Koswatta a 51 yer old person He is a father of two children and his wife is also a teacher.The Principal had been admitted to the Marawila Base hospital and had died the same night.It is reported that after he was in conversation with the officers of the national child protection authority he had suddenly gone  to the rear compond f his house and taken poison the Police has revealed.

The postmortem of his remains is to be held and in the meantime the authorities of the Koswatta Police are conducting investigations.
