India launches first electric motor bike which could run 100 km once charged
Sri Lanka imports most motor cycles from neighbouring India.Indian authorities by revolutionizing the motor cycle industry had manufactured a motor cycle which could run on
a battery.
This had been achieved after seven years of experimentation.This had been an successful attempt by the Tolk Motors Company.It is named as Tork T6X
This motor cycle has been powered by a lithium battery power and once charged the motor cycle could run 100 km. at a stretch. It is said that in one hour the battery could be charged 80 % and in two hours could be charged 100 %.
The life span of a battery is supposed to be for running 100,000 km the maximum.The motor cycle weighs 138 KG and the fastest speed in only 100 kmh.
This new motor cycle is been sold in Pune,Bangalore and Delhi cities.The selling price of a motor cycle is In Rs 1,025,000/-( Indian rupees one hundred and twenty five thousand ).
