Principal in town to meet the abused 14 year old student

A principal of  Pannala  Maha Vidyalaya school has been arrested  by the Ruwanwella police on suspicion for abusing a fourteen year old girl student inside the room of the principal.

In this manner the principal of Pannala Maha

Vidyalaya had been arrested on suspicion for abusing the 14 year old student studying in year 10.The teacher in charge of the class had accused this girl for having a love affair with another student.The principal had summoned the girl to his room to question.At that time the principal had abused the girl.

The principal had told thatthr girl is undergoing a bad period and invited her to go and see a "kapu mahattaya".The girl student had objected to it but had come.

 On the day after that the principal had taken leave and had been staying to meet this girl in the Anguruwella town to meet her after she was returning after school.After she came the principal had invited her to go to the 'devale'.Refusing his request she had conveyed the sequence of events to a relative of her in Anguruwella.

The relative had decided to complain about this issue to the Ruwanwella police.The pricipal had been taken on suspicion to custody in this manner.

After this principal was produced before the Ruwanwella magistrate courts.He was ordered  him to be arrested until the 13th of this month.

The girl had been ordered to be  admitted and subjected to a medical examination at the Ruwanwella district hospital

In regard to this incident the officer in charge of the Ruwanwella police Chief Inspector of Police Pradeep Weerasekera and Sub Inspector of Police Bodaragama and women police Sergeant Vijitha (587) and other officers are conducting investigations.
