Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe is in Singapore to attend to the  summit of the  Indian ocean 2016.During his visit he had on the 02nd met Assistant secretary of State  in charge of the

of the south and central Asian region of the American state council  Nisha Bishwal.

The discussion  the two Ranil Wickremasinghe and Nisha Biswal has been heldat the Ritz Carlton hotel in Singapore.The attention had been drawn to the current development activities in Sri Lanka and the challenges faced in the political arenas by the countries in the Asian region were discussed.

The Prime Minister had emphasized on the  development plans economic corridor in Kandy,Colombo and Hambantota. In addition he had discussed  and explained to her on the development plans in the Eastern province and Trincomalee.
